Most of ours is freight although AMTRAK still carries passengers, mostly in the Northeast. The US transportation system is geared more towards air and private auto travel.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08812329358511747697noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7326467594382112544.post-30634103356744201502011-07-03T17:02:28.539+01:002011-07-03T17:02:28.539+01:00I would have gone on the train! I too have cancer (as you may have gleaned if you have perused my previous posts) and I am trying to do as much as possible in the weeks that I feel not too bad. I was tired yesterday, we kept sitting down to rest along the way. Thanks for reading and your comment and I wish you all the best dealing with the cancer.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03565202952790011951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7326467594382112544.post-48544829294286850242011-07-03T11:51:48.482+01:002011-07-03T11:51:48.482+01:00Hello! My Son lives just outside the York walls, and we were there in May. My Partner visited the Musuem, but it was too much for me at the time. Having been unwell for a long time, now diagnosed with Cancer of the Head and Neck. Was in Hospital this week, and go back to clinic on the 4th.
Also, interested in previous postings as we were in the Filey area some months ago.

AileenAileenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00632345595058917693noreply@blogger.com
