Against All Odds.

Every year without fail I make a new year’s resolution to diet. I it did again this year as I did last year. How successful was I? Well I am now nearly a stone heavier at the beginning of this year compared to last.  I try really hard honest!  But I am up against it. Eating influences come wafting my way every minute of the day. I should be stronger in will. Firmer in resolution. Go shopping alone. Wear headphones or earplugs. Not be swayed by those pleading eyes, and persuasive tone of voice.  Will I manage it this year?  What do you think? Sigh………

Can we have? shrek2

  4. I know just what you mean I lost 4 stone and have now put it all back on again. Loosing weight takes a lot of dedication but the one thing I did learn was that you must not beat yourself up if you fall off the wagon just pick your self up and start again rather than giving up....

  5. Admiral, thanks for understanding my dilemma.
Dianne, yes and I could manage it if I didn't have the daily influence of food loving, any excuse for a nosh up and booze up K.

  6. Ah love the pictures TG , well they say dieting alone won't help you stay slim , exercise as well. But I must say you certainly get plenty of exercise. We all enjoy our food but at times tend to eat the wrong things. It's hard I know carb's and protiens the body has a hard job dealing with these would you believe. The secret is not to mix the two tog at the same time. Which is very hard indeed. Good luck.

  11. That same look is spread across the face of the 4 legged critter at my side. I think he's trying to help me lose weight by constantly begging for anything I pick up. If I ever lose my mouse I'll know where to start looking.......out in the yard in about 2 days.

  12. I suppose your right Jenny. Rocket Man, its that 'pleading' look that does it. Maybe I should get a dog to eat all my food.
