A Mystery Tour

On Monday we were taken on a tour. A tour around a building I have never ever set foot in before but where I will soon be residing for a whole week. Modern and only completed a few years ago, it towers above you like some huge ships funnel. It is a very busy building, well used with lot’s of people entering and leaving via its various exits and not only via the ground floor.  A lovely lady by the name of Penny was our tour guide for the day. She was dressed in a fetching blue outfit, and was all smiles as she showed us around the very attractive surroundings.

Another Day, another Jaunt!

We are off on one of our jaunts tomorrow. (Or adventures if you use your imagination more vigorously.)  As I have done in the past, I will try and include some clues as to our destination, but I am going to have to be really careful and vague with this one or it will be far too easy for my readers to guess. We had planned to do this one quite a while back but circumstances and our short break away postponed things until now. As is often the case, never to miss out on one of our jaunts, we will as usual be accompanied by J, hopefully this time not spending the entire day texting his beloved (which nearly drove me insane last time if you remember.)  So here goes with the clues.

Off on a lone adventure.

When I got up this morning, I should have been busy tidying up the flat and doing some ironing.  I say should have because the moment I looked out of the window at the glorious October blue sky, and urged on by one of my blogging friends I threw caution to the winds, thought ‘Dang it!’ (or words to that effect) and armed with my trusty camera, set off on a lone adventure to who knows where.  I had no idea where I would end up, I did have some letters to post so that quest would have to feature in which direction I took, but as for the rest I would let fate decide where I eventually was to land up by catching the train. So whichever train arrived first, I would venture there.  This glorious October weather was far too good to waste!
