Spooky Halloween!

Many of my readers will be aware of my daughters acting abilities. She is a born actress, spends the majority of her time watching films or television programs and has always been   very interested in effects and make up. We only had three ‘Trick or Treaters’ call last night, so in order to add to the whole affair and in the spirit (sorry, pun intended) of Halloween, she began trying out various attempts to spook her Mum who was trying vainly to catch up on watching some of my recent TV recordings. It was all so funny that I grabbed my camera and took a photo of her escapades for you all, and here they are.

Headless Daughter

Firstly I was treated to this whilst in the Kitchen making a cup of tea.

Oh she's armless!

Followed by this entrance some time later.

Coughing up fake blood

Next she treated me to some blood. (tomato ketchup I hope!)

Telling me a scary tale

Followed by this apparition telling a spooky tale in the lounge

Ready to greet the trick or treaters

And finally her get up for greeting the ‘Trick or Treat’ callers.

So all that I can say is this. Who needs Halloween costumes when you have a daughter as inventive as mine?

TG (Either that, or she watches too many scary films!) Rolling on the floor laughing

  1. Thanks Gerry. Just a typical night trying to unwind.....

  2. Looks to me like your daughter had a lot of fun
    Take care

  3. Thanks Sue Mac yes she always gets into the 'spirit' of Halloween with great gusto

  4. Oh Dear TG what a tinker your daughter is she sure does know how to have fun, hope you had a good one. Sheilax

  5. I suppose the term 'fun' depends on whether she makes you jump out of your skin or not!
Luckily I am pretty used to her by now when its Halloween, so I am always on my guard..

  6. Bet you got more than a few laughs out of K's antics. Laura has moved out so it was just me and THE BOSS last night. Not a very scary night until I looked in the mirror while brushing my teeth before going to bed.

  7. Let me know if you'll be on your own next Halloween and I'll send K over Rocket Man. Sounds like you were in dire need of her 'spooky antics' more than I was!

  8. Out and about, blog hopping. So glad I hopped in here. You have a beautiful daughter, and her creative greetings really made me smile! God bless you both.

  9. Thank you Anonymous! I am truly gifted I know that. She is very unique and such a joy.

  10. I can see by the photos your daughter is quiet the actor and really creative as well. Looks like she had a fun Holloween.

  11. Yes Carrie. She has acted for as long as I can remember. My first memory is of her having her Dad and myself dragging her up our stairs after she had watched 'The Poisidon Adventure' for the first time. To be honest, I don't think she is ever out of character and I don't really know who the real K is!

What do you think?
