  3. You'll probably both remember exactly the same 'scary incidents' occurring to me last year around this time of year. Is it any wonder I'm dippy?

  6. Its not quite such a big thing over here in the UK as it is in the US. K will no doubt be doing her usual, and hiding behind the door dressed as some frightening creature with horrible hands etc, ready to pounce on any trick or treaters, while I'll be buying tons of gory eyeballs, squidgy skulls, and other assorted goodies to stuff into a container to hand out as treats.

Yes Carrie, it soon comes around again. A lady yesterday was buying a scary Halloween outfit for her very small baby to wear.

  9. You all do Halloween also? Perhaps it actually started there and came here later. I guess the word has a bit of an Anglo-Saxon ring to it. Do you remember a blogger from Spaces named "Jen" (J.H.)? She was very active in the Spaces community, then suddenly disappeared. I recall she did a radio show. I hope she is well.

  10. Well, we don't 'do Halloween' in quite the same way as the US I don't think. We are far more into 'Mischief Night' which is the night before Bonfire Night (November the 5th) where of course we remember Guy Fawkes who tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament. This is celebrated by burning effigies of said Guy Fauwkes on bonfires.
Jen has come over to Wordpress I think. Will try to get hold of her if I can. Last I heard, she was fine.
